I worked with director Emma Callendar and sound designer and musician Jo Wills on making moving image projection for a theatre production of Carol Churchill's play 'Mad Forest'. The play is set in Romania in 1989, the time of the fall of Ceaucescu, the Communist leader. It is based on real life testimony from eyewitnesses of the day of the fall, but also comments more widely on the struggle experienced between desire for freedom and the need for structure in societies, and the way these tensions make themselves manifest in human relationships.

I am working on moving image projections for three walls of a performance space, using architecture to explore emotional states and narrative progression. The film was mostly shot in an abandoned air-base village in Hungary.
