In this series of pencil drawings I explore the story of the drowning of Beach Boy Dennis Wilson in a progressive set of images.

Part illustrative, part abstract, these drawings explore an internal cartography regarding the juxtaposition of two vastly different times in his life played out in the same physical space. Wilson drowned after diving to the bottom of the Marina del Ray to retrieve artifacts he had discarded overboard when his yacht 'The Harmony' had been moored there a decade previously.
